ESOL for Everyday

Welcome to ESOL for Everyday – real-life English for real learners.

This section of the shop is full of practical, no-nonsense resources designed to help Entry Level learners build the skills they actually need for life in the UK.

Created by a community-based teacher who understands what works in the classroom, the community centre, or a busy family home – these resources are made for real people, not textbook robots.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Downloadable learner packs on everyday topics like health, housing, food, school, and work

  • Speaking Up activities that build confidence in real-life conversations

  • Teacher resources including answer grids, multi-level topic sets, and printable tools

  • Placement tests and progress trackers to help you pitch it right and see learner growth

Everything is plain-English, culturally aware, and designed to make learners feel seen, heard, and capable. Most packs are suitable for Entry Level 1–3, with clear signposting to help you match to learners’ needs.

Use them as full lessons, warm-ups, independent learning, or part of a wider course. However you teach, this section is here to make your work easier and more impactful.
